Getting started

Depending on the need, we would preferably start with an in-person evaluation to better understand the needs of the individual. It is required to start with an assessment for an individual to receive services.

• At Intercoastal Speech Solutions, we believe in supporting clients in their most natural environment to promote lasting progress.

• Services are provided in-person and virtually

  • Initial Assessment → All new clients should begin with an in-person assessment to establish rapport, gather detailed observations, and develop an individualized treatment plan that best reflects the client’s needs. Virtual assessments are available. 

  • Therapy Progression → After the initial assessment, Intercoastal Speech Solutions will move forward in a progression to become virtual. Meeting in community sites and homes is an option depending on the needs of individual.

  • Review and Revise → Collect continuous input and data to ensure interventions are effective.

  • Fading Support→ As the client shows progress and caregivers become more confident with strategies, sessions will transition to virtual. This phased approach helps caregivers and clients implement techniques in real-life situations while still receiving professional guidance.

  We are based in Brevard County with in-person sessions available throughout Brevard County. We can provide services in home, at community sites, or virtually. Virtual sessions are available across the state of Florida.
